Famous Pizza Paramus
About This Spot
Stepping into Famous Pizza Paramus, you immediately sense a warm, unpretentious neighborhood spot where good food and friendly faces invite you to pause and savor a simple pleasure. The café-style interior moves at an easy pace—unhurried, welcoming—and though modest, it carries a feeling of familiarity that makes it easy to settle in or grab a comforting bite on the go.
What stands out here isn’t just the inviting aroma of freshly baked crusts or the vibrant colors on the plates, but the genuine care woven into every detail. Whether you’re drawn in by the crisp, thin pizzas that promise that satisfying crunch and the kind of sauce that feels like home, or you stick around for something a little different like a vegan or gluten-free creation, each option reflects a thoughtful approach to classic Italian comfort with a modern, inclusive twist.
Beyond the pizza, there’s a delightful range of offerings—from hearty sandwiches and fresh salads to pasta and even dairy-free delights—that create a sense of discovery with every visit. The kitchen’s versatility shows in how they blend traditional favorites with options that suit a variety of diets, crafting moments of enjoyment for all kinds of palates.
But perhaps most memorable is the atmosphere created by the people behind the scenes. It’s clear this is more than just a place to eat; it’s a place where stories are shared across the counter and regulars are greeted by name. This human touch echoes through the service, making each meal a little more personal, whether you’re dining in the calm hum of the café or picking up a takeaway slice to enjoy elsewhere.
If you find yourself wandering down Ridgewood Avenue, Famous Pizza Paramus offers a quietly joyful spot to reconnect with the simple comfort of well-loved flavors and genuine hospitality.

It’s a cool if basic cafe style interior, and I don’t think they have beer or anything, but I got a vegan ‘meatball’ pizza which was amazing. I got take away and the man (who I think owns it) was lovely. Loads of cheese, brilliant base and just delicious. Highly recommend….

By far one of the best pizza spots in Jersey! Thin Crispy Slices, Great Sauce and Cheese. Great prices as well! Very Friendly People!

This is possibly the best pizza I've had in New Jersey to date. Cooked perfectly, the crust is thin, just the way I like it. Order 2 slices and you get a free can of soda. I had my pizza slices with mushrooms. Delicious! If you're near here stop in. The service is awesome too!
